NEW SINGLE - GOODNIGHT LOVERS
RELEASED 11TH FEBRUARY 2002
2 GRAMMY NOMINATIONS
Depeche Mode release a new single 'Goodnight Lovers' on Mute on 11th February 2002.
Written by Martin Gore and produced by Mark Bell, 'Goodnight Lovers' is the latest single from the "Exciter" album and follows last year's three top 20 hits: 'Dream On', 'I Feel Loved' and 'Freelove'.
2001 proved to be a hugely successful year for Depeche Mode. Dave Gahan, Martin Gore and Andrew Fletcher completed their sold out "Exciter" world tour in November at the European MTV Awards in Frankfurt with a stunning rendition of 'Never Let Me Down', proving once again they are one of the best live acts in the world. The universally acclaimed "Exciter" has world wide album sales approaching three million and Depeche Mode have just been nominated for two Grammy Awards. 'I Feel Loved' is nominated for the "Best Dance Recording" and Danny Tenaglia's mix of the single is up for "Best Remixed Recording".
Released on both CD and 12" vinyl, 'Goodnight Lovers' comes backed with an acoustic version of 'When The Body Speaks', an Electronicat remix of 'Dead of Night' and an Isan remix of 'Goodnight Lovers'.
