The song originally appeared on The Raveonettes seminal debut "Whip It On" from 2002 and Dave and Kurt's version will be included on the re-worked version of the album "Rip It Off" out on vinyl later this year alongside other fine artists such as MØ, The Brian Jonestown Massacre, The Black Angels, trentemøller and more.
“I was just happy to be asked to do it and come up with a twist on the tragic characters in the song. She’s a little psychedelic and a little rock’n’roll.”
- Dave Gahan
“We’re honored to have a legend like Dave Gahan interpret one of our songs. It means the world to us. We’ve toured with Depeche Mode a bunch of times and we love and adore them”
- The Raveonettes
